What and how many guns are in resident evil 5

There r a total of 23 weapons in Resident evil 5 & there is an achievement/trophy for collecting them all. Here is a list of them & where/when u can obtain them. All guns r found in a large silver case (so keep an eye out) with the exception of magnums, the Ithaca M37 & the Dragunov SVD which r more secretive.

Handguns
Beretta M92F = Chapter 1-1
H&K P8 = Purchase after 3-1
Sig P226 = Purchase after 5-1
Beretta M93R = Fully upgrade M92F, then purchase.

Shotguns
Ithaca M37 = Chapter 1-2, u must obtain a key to enter the building that is immediatley to ur left after u see the cut-scene of the woman in a black dress, it is on a wall inside the building that u need a key to.
Benelli M3 = Chapter 3-3
Jail breaker (DAO-12) = Chapter 6-1
Hydra (Completely fictional) = Fully upgrade Ithaca M37, then purchase.

Machine guns
VZ61 = Chapter 1-1
AK-74 = Chapter 5-1
Sig 556 = Chapter 5-2
H&K MP5 = Chapter 2-1

Rifles
Sako 75 = Chapter 2-1
Dragunov SVD = Chapter 2-2, in a locker after Irving escapes.
PSG-1 = 5-3

Magnums
S&W M29 = 3-1 = found next to dead BSAA member after u open door which requires 4 emblems.
Lightning Hawk (Desert eagle) = Immediately into the Wesker fight, head right towards a blue door, this will trigger a cut-scene of Wesker kicking u through it, follow the path & enter a room with a casket like container in it. Open it with Sheva is help to find the weapon.
S&W M500 = Fully upgrade S&W M29, then purchase.

Other
Rocket launcher = Chapter 3-1 (single use only unless u complete game in under 5 hours to unlock unlimited ammo)
Grenade launcher = 4-1
Stun rod = Purchase after 2-3
Long bow = Fully upgrade Sako 75, then purchase.
Gatling gun = Fully upgrade VZ61, then purchase.
