NO. Those older guns should be grandfathered in if u bought them before any ban that real wacko nut cases had put into law.
Ammo may be a question 100 guns is a collection but 1 AR15 with 20,000 rounds would not be.
In the event of war, rebellion or anything else out of the ordinary u may want to consider burying caches of ammo away from u home in remote locations where it will not be accidentally found, that way u can have access if u need it.
if u read the news today u may also want to stock up on canned goods.

In my little town, the last time one of the police dropped by my place, I had a little overflow problem. He complimented me on the rifle lying on the sofa & the shotgun in the corner, but he did not see a significant part of my battery. I keep meaning to get another case to keep those extras in.
Maybe u need to live in a free country where people r not afraid of tools lying about.

I undestand. I also collect guns for investment value. In fact I have several guns that have never been fired & I never would fire because that would hurt their investment value.

However I did have to sell several of my guns because even though I purchased them legally & they were legal when I purchased them, the state of California, several years later passed laws making them illegal.

I sold my guns to a collector that I know in Nevada where those guns r still legal.

Also, I recommend that u put ur investment grade guns in secure storage away from ur home.

That way if emergency personnel have to enter ur home they will not encounter ur gun collection & become frightened.

Remember, if u have a fire at ur home, or a heart attack or stroke emergency personnel may have to enter ur home.

They will not understand ur gun collection.

They will become extremely frightened if they encounter ur gun collection.

In fact the private storage unit that I rent for my guns is the same storage company that local police agencies use for storage of their firearms.

Yes, even the police department rents storage space to store their excess firearms when they do not have the space for them.

Make certain the operator of the storage unit knows that u plan to store guns in the locker & that it is sufficiently secure that it is not likely that someone will break into the unit & steal the guns.

You do not want criminals to break into ur storage unit steal ur guns & sell them to criminals for use in criminal behavior.
