Why does America have a problem with people having guns

The pussification of the average American as well as ''guns are icky'' mentality and the ignorance of what guns are and arent capable of.

I dont believe that America has a problem with people having guns. And really the 2nd Amendment doesnt say that everyone should have a gun to kill people, it says the right to own a gun, to bear arms.

We have problems with repeated felons, not guns. For some reason in the U.S. repeated felons have it easy here. Guns r not the problem in my eyes because I know the type of responsibilities needed to own one along w/ other law abiding gun owners. And by guns I assume u only meant firearms right? The ''gun'' can also be the following other than firearms:
-air powered guns
-paintball guns (non lethal)
-airsoft guns (non lethal)
*Note- target shooting is a hobby as well & with proper training, a firearm can also be used in self defense.*

Too many fools want to play soldier.

But guns are everywhere here. I have a dozen or more myself. Personally I believe I should be able to decide who gets a gun and who doesn't. Some people are just too stupid to trust with a firearm.

The second amendment has been argued to mean the right to form and be part of a citizen is miltia.

I beleive the founding fathers beleived an armed population would be difficult to subjugate.

Because the bleeding heart liberals want to have more control over the people than the people want them to have. They tell people that only bad people have guns & want to kill others. They forget that it was the armed citizens of this country that fought & died for our independence.
Also, the UN is trying to gain more control of the countries of the world by strong arming them into implementing gun control. Look at the statistics on Australia. When they imposed gun control, the crime rate there rose exponentially. As long as criminals know that the person they r about to rob may be carrying a firearm, they will think twice about victimizing them.
When guns r outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Crazy people love guns, and America has no shortage of either.

its not the government its the people

We are given too much freedom which can be bad if you decide to give everyone guns.

Some people still think guns walk around and kill people all by themselves!

What kind of an idiot would think that a criminal would ever care enough about a law to follow it and not carry a gun or shoot people? After all, they are not criminals because they follow the laws, lol!

Hence. gun laws only inhibit the honest gun toting public!

I love guns and support the 2nd amendment

We will for one thing I think they fall into the hands of the wrong reasons but thats because of political reasons. I really do believe that if only crazy people get them, then everybody should have one.
