l need help w/ a S.S. paper. it is about the Second Amendment, allowing guns. l need another reason that it is OK. l already have self-defense. i'm not sure weather to include hunting, or not. my S.S. teach is a BIG hunter (archery and gun.)

Well, the original reason for the 2nd Amendment is to allow the people to take up arms against their own government and overthrow it if they so desired. Obviously that is no longer realistic given the advances in weaponry and limits on gun ownership. But certainly you could argue that gun ownership among the general populace could discourage the government from engaging in systematic oppression.

Yes, of course, include hunting.
